with T.V. and tea making facilities. Rates are £22.50 p.p.p.n.
with a £2.50 additional charge for English Breakfast. Payment
methods are cash or cheque only, we regret that we cannot accept

Area
- Ideally located close to Gatwick Airport, with easy links to
London and Brighton, Reigate is an old market town situated at
the foot of the North Downs. Recent research has confirmed that
Reigate's origins date back to the 12th. century and the whole
of the town centre is a conservation area. Reigate is on the
main railway line from London to the Brighton which has a stop
for Gatwick Airport, making Blackthorn Guest House the ideal stop-over
establishment. |

How to Find Us
- It's easy to reach us by car, rail or bus. We are
situated a short distance from the A217 which runs from Junction
8 of the M25 south towards Gatwick. Final details will be
confirmed at time of booking. Our closest mainline railway
station is Redhill, and there is a Bus Station immediately
outside, with regular services running directly to us. Taxis are
readily available and inexpensive. |

Attractions
- Reigate - There are many places of interest to visit, a
few of which are listed below. The Priory - Built in the
13th century it became a residence in the 16th century and is
now a school and contains a museum open to the public at certain
times. Crown Cottage - This 17th century timber framed
cottage has a cobbled passageway running through it which is thought
to have been used by donkeys to shift sand. Tunnel Road -
In 1823 this tunnel was built leaving a 17th century timber
framed cottage above it, which still stands to-day. Parish
Church of St. Mary Magdalene - the church dates back to the
11th century and the country's earliest public lending library
is in the upper storey of the vestry. Denbies Vineyard
(Dorking) - You can visit the vineyard for viewing and
tasting. Guildford - Historic town with good shopping.
Brighton and London are also within easy reach of
Reigate. Walking - For those who enjoy walking there is
the North and South Down Way. Race courses - Both Epsom
and Lingfield Race courses are within easy reach of Reigate.
